Flexible or catenary idler: Our specialty!
The rubber made flexible idler, also known as “Catenary idler” is installed in the carry side of a trough design conveyor belt. This idler replaces the three traditional steel rollers and being one idler instead of three its support is much simpler.
The design of the supports facilitates cleaning and improve idler performance.
The replacement of the idlers and the setting of the new ones is instantaneous, easily made by non-specialised operators. Due to the design of the hook the safety at the facility is improved.
The bearings (placed inside the hooks and outside the working area) are better protected against the inclement weather or the ambient dust.
The idlers are marketed:
• Black discs : for all uses
• White discs : for food and soap industry
